I am not saying that we need to abandon Israel but they have been a %26quot;thorn in our side%26quot; for some time... they have stolen technology from us (that we would have eventually given to them), they take our money but rarely take our advice (see the weapons they used in Lebanon this past year).
Our relationship with Israel is very one-sided. Even with the amount of aid we give them (no other nation gets so much from us) we can rarely reign them in.

Reply:Israel%26#039;s scientific discoveries have nothing to do with the controversy that surrounds Israel. Simply put, the land was stolen from its rightful inhabitants (I don%26#039;t care what the bible says, the bible is not a land deed, and the people living their have a holy book that says the opposite of what the bible says). When you take land from people by force, that is wrong. In fact, stealing is against their religion or so I thought.
You can move Israel to somewhere else (Alaska) and they can continue doing these wonderful scientific breakthroughs in peace and quiet.
