Abortion and stem cell question?

288>why is it that anti abortin people always say that an aborted baby could have found a cure for cancer when most of them disagree with stem cell research. also isnt that baby helping us find a cure for cancer
Reply:This has been by far the most interesting question I recieved. I am happy to help. I personally would not donate the fetus for research because in my eyes it is an extension of me and personally I would have liked to have buried my child. After the abortion I was quite concerned what they did with the fetus after and I was told that it just goes into a toxic waste bin but I don%26#039;t believe that. After all Science makes great use of fetal tissue in immunization for example. On the other hand.. If I were to have a baby now I would definitely donate the umbilical cord blood for research. Feel free to ask any more questions if this isn%26#039;t sufficient enough and All the Best with your Paper.
Reply:If you don%26#039;t care if the baby lives, why do you care if the person with cancer lives?

It%26#039;s only dead because you kill it by sucking it out of it%26#039;s mother%26#039;s womb...stupid!
Reply:Let%26#039;s set you straight on some facts here. People agree with with Stem Cell research. They don%26#039;t agree with Embryonic Stem Cell Research. We can get all the stem cells we want via Non Embryonic Stem Cells (Which the government does fund). There has been no evidence brought forth to suggest that Embryonic stem cells will produce further or faster results. Researchers can use the Embryonic stem cells in their research, but the government will not pay for it. There....those are the facts........can we move on now?
Reply:There are peoplein this un-caring group called %26#039;pro-life%26#039; who really are the bringers of daeth to many, that even oject to the use of fertilized eggs being stores by coulples that would hae been thrown away. Tehy say, done say life and suffering, dont feed the poor, kill prisioners, but no stem cell
Reply:I think that when most pro-life people say that an aborted fetus could have found a cure for cancer, they are not talking about embryonic stem-cell research. They mean that, had the baby been born and grown up, the adult might have found a cure for cancer. In the minds of the anti-abortion people, it%26#039;s an argument for why someone shouldn%26#039;t have an abortion.
