Reply:i kinda think we havent done it yet because, for example, when we donate organs, sometimes r bodies tunr down the organ. i think that would happen. great thinking though
Reply:There are several studies being conducted involving both the bacterial residents of the Kimodo dragon mouth, and of their immune system. I suspect it will be very difficult to manage a vaccination based on the antibodies, though. Reptiles do not share the same diseases as mammals, for the most part, and obviously we have very different metabolisms. What may work for the dragon may not be possible in a warm blooded animal. Antibodies from one species are not always transferable to another, you body would attack them as much as an invader as the bacteria you wanted to be protected from. It%26#039;s not as easy as simply whirling out a tube of dragon blood, separating out the antibodies and injecting them into a person. So far as cures go, the only antibodies we%26#039;d likely be able to derive would be from the bacteria in the dragons mouth. Most of those exist mostly in the dragons mouth, not elsewhere, so if you aren%26#039;t likely to be bitten by one, a vaccination against those bacteria would not be of much use.
