What are our risks of breast cancer?

141>I am 18 minus a month and my gf is 16 and two months or so. We have a regular sex life, which began about 3-4 months ago. At the beginning we used condoms, we then switched to anti conceptional pills, which she takes daily with pauses. I.E. We have sex 1-2 times a week. What our risks of breast cancer? I say %26#039;our%26#039; as a couple issue, I am not concerned about myself! :)

P.S. There have been no signs or definite causes for concern, perhaps I am a bit too much of a hypochondriac :)
Reply:She is almost guaranteed to get breast cancer or cervical cancer. You see these cancers are hormone dependent cancers and in the 1960-1970s female cancer rates rose 800% and this was the same time they started prescribing hormone medications such as hormone therapy and birth control! A while back they published a study that showed that these medications cause cancer, stroke, and heart failure. Then a large number of women stopped taking these medications and the female cancer rates dropped by 25%. So I would strongly advise using other ways for birth control if you truly care for this girl and I tell everyone you know that take birth control or hormone therapy about this.
Reply:It would be better if you went back to condoms. The longer a woman

Takes bc pills the more likely she is to have problems.

You also may want to take a look at the law wherever you live to see if 16 is the age of consent for a female. If it is older than that you could face legal problems
Reply:Why are you worried about breast cancer. Her chances of getting pregnant are much higher since you are having sex twice a week. I don%26#039;t understand the pauses remark either. Breast cancer is generally a genetic disease, but can happen to anyone.
Reply:You can read about the risks at http://www.your-natural-cures.com/breast... You guys should be careful, pregnancy might be a greater risk than anything else.
Reply:Millions of women take oral contraceptives every day. Her chances of getting breast cancer(from the birth control alone) are almost none. Especially at the age of 16! Trust me, I%26#039;m no doctor but I have a lot of experience and knowledge about breast cancer.(Including a mother with stage 4 breast cancer) I suggest doing a little research on the disease. By the way, ALL sexually active girls are at a high risk for cevical cancer. Urge her to get regular pap smears (they%26#039;re really not that bad)which can detect and prevent this fast spreading disease.
