Have heavy recreational pot smokers ever considered information such as this?

166>In in-vitro experiments THC at extremely high concentrations, which could not be reached with commonly consumed doses, caused inhibition of plaque formation, the cause of Alzheimer%26#039;s disease, better than currently approved drugs.[15]

THC may also be an effective anti-cancer treatment, with studies showing tumor reduction in mice, conducted in 1975.[16]

In early May 2007, British Doctors released a study that linked THC to psychotic episodes (paranoid delusions and hallucinations) in healthy test subjects. Another study conducted at Yale University showed similar results in healthy subjects, but also included a schizophrenic group. The effect on the schizophrenics was so profound that it merited cancellation of the study due to fear that it would be unethical to continue. [17]

Reply:The damages caused by alcoholism are far worse than those caused by chronic marijuana use, I%26#039;m far from worried about what a joint will do to me when I see everyone else my age drinking mass quantities of beer every weekend.
Reply:lol, heavy recreational pot smokers.

like they would care about whatever you posted.
Reply:I love my weed :D
Reply:I don%26#039;t understand your point. You%26#039;re both condemning it and praising its virtues. Make up your mind

It%26#039;s long been know that marijuana has many medicinal benefits that no other drug could achieve.

Marijuana is the only drug that eases glaucoma pain, nausea from chemotherapy, inhibits growth of cancer cells; aids in diabetic induced nausea, chronic diahhrea, low and high blood pressure, bi-polar disorder.

Name one other drug that has all these therapeutic benefits, and then answer me why it is illegal.
Reply:ALL drugs have side effects, illegal or otherwise. Stop picking on pot smokers and research how bad aspartame is for you.
Reply:sorry fella that was too many big words to read
Reply:I%26#039;m not a pot smoker of any kind, but I don%26#039;t really understand what you%26#039;re trying to get at. That they%26#039;re less likely to deal with Alzheimer%26#039;s or cancer, but are more likely to become psychotic? Would I understand your question more if I were on drugs?
Reply:My bf was a heavy pot smoker and i defiantly believe all of that is true. He has been diagnosed as Schitzopheranic and has had some physchotic episodes, the only problem with that information is that once they quit the phycs and doctors wil put them on an anti psychotic for a few months then take them off it when they have fully detoxed and most of the time there schitzopherania or psychosis is drug induced and by the time the drug is out of there body, the schitzipherania is completely gone and they can lead a normal life. The psych that my bf saw actually told us that he has seen over 100 people with drug problems come in with these sorta of issues and then as soon as they get off the drug and fully detox all there mental health issues are completely gone, which is good. Im not condoning drugs at all, i completely hate them, and ive seen first hand what they can do.
Reply:I might become a psychopath, but at least I won%26#039;t die of cancer. Neener neener.

Reply:Alcoholism is a mental, physical and spiritual illness that can be arrested with recovery from damage caused by the alcohol to the brain, if it hasn%26#039;t advanced too far. On the other hand, the strong cannabis around today causes irreparable chemical changes to the brain resulting in permanent paranoia and state of fear plus all the other range of unpleasant psychotic illnesses. I recovered from my alcoholism-well still doing so. I am so glad cannabis was never my preferred choice of drug.
Reply:i have smoked a lot of pot in my 51 years, i have smoked pure thc, i smoked weed in Nam that would knock ya Mama%26#039;s socks off. i have smoked just about every kind there is and i have yet to smoke any that made me hallucinat. i hav taken lsd that made me hallucinat , so i do know what it%26#039;s like to hallucanat. i%26#039;ve smoked piute that made hallusanat. but i asume ya talking about marajana.

so i think ya British doctors that conducted that experamint are as full of dodo as a constapated mule.

and they should be ashamed of their selfs and arrested for yousing schizophrenics as ginnie pigs to conduct their little experamint.

don%26#039;t they have enough problems going on in their heads?

as a retired outlaw biker i have known my share of schizophrenics. although I am no doctor it always seemed to me like it calmed them downand made the vocies shut the hell up.
