Is anti-perspirant bad for you?

108>The anti-perspirant i use contains aluminum and i was told applying this might cause cancer or other stuff. Is this true?
Reply:I have never heard of that BUT you should alternate between an antiperspirant and a deodorant. If you only use antiperspirant, it can make you sick. You are not allowing any sweat to come out of your underarms whcih means that toxins are staying in your body. Deodorant lets the toxins out via sweat and it keeps the smell down. Best to alternater between the two every other stick or so.
Reply:Anti- Perspirant may cause breast cancer(Deodorant is fine) Anti-perspirant prevent perspiring. The body deposits the toxins in the lymph nodes below the arms since it cannot sweat them out. That鈥檚 y almost all breast cancer tumorous occur in the upper breast area where the lymphs nodes located... Report It

Reply:i dont know but it drys my arm pits out and makes them itch like hell.. I just use deoderant now..
Reply:Yeah it is bad. Stick with deodarant I dont know if there is an anti persperant without aluminum available.
Reply:NO it's not true. It's a HOAX!
Reply:yes. a lot of research says spraying anti perspirant could lead to breast cancer as repeated applications will lead to an absorption of bad chemicals into the blood stream.
Reply:Aluminum something(don't remember the second part), some people are allergic but don't know about the cancer thing
Reply:Anti-perspirant clogs your pores so you don't sweat. Consequently this can cause infections or boils under your arms. I don't know about cancer but it can give you some nasty boils. Stick with deodorant.
