Recently a scientest at the University of Alberta complained that he could not find 'funding' for research on a cancer chemical, because the chemical could not be patented.
Seems cancer research is all about making money, on a patentable drug.
What if the cure for cancer is merely a simple vitamin ?
What if the cure for cancer is merely a bacterial infection that renders the production of a simple important vitamin corrupt, leading to a breakdown of cells ?
