Tanning Beds?

415>I have alwyas been quite the Anti-%26quot;Fake%26quot; Tanner. As in frying my skin on a tanning bed instead of just going outside. I%26#039;m fair, but I rarely burn and I wear sunscrean. This past winter has been horrible in Ohio and I%26#039;m considering around April or May going to a tanning salon and tanning. I%26#039;m very cuatious with skin cancer, and if I went I still planned to put on some sun screen, but really if I went maybe twice a month is it really that bad? Some things I%26#039;ve read say it%26#039;s about the same as tanning outside, it%26#039;s just people use it too often. I don%26#039;t know, I%26#039;m just sick of the orange streaky tanners, they never work right. Do you think this would be a bad thing to do?
Reply:No its fine to do. The tanning place I go to uses a bed that has really really really low UV. Lower than the sun.

Going twice a month wont give you anything.

What i do is sign up for one month, go every other day or so, get nice and tan and then that tan will stick with me til the next year. Really.

If you tan once here or there, that doesnt give your skin a chance to soak it up. Your skin will ernew itself and lose the tan with it.

Go for it, I get just as dark as i desire within one month and i dont need to go again til next Feb!
Reply:A tan is a symptom of skin damage
