69>i got my theory from the snake
possibly, since people use anti-venom to make the person feel better if they're bit by the snake
maybe we can use anti-cancer??
is it possible?
if not
and
if so
please tell me why
=]
thanks a lot
Reply:I don't know much, but cancer invades other cells. By using anti cancer like anti-venom (using a little bit of venom mixed with other chemicals) it would just accelerate teh cancer
Reply:lol sure ok why not
Reply:The reaction we get to a snakebite is an autoimmune response of the body to the foreign toxin.
The cause of cancer is not fully understood, sometimes it is genetic in which case hopefully we might be able to genetically screen for cancers- but with no hope of treatment yet that's not really helpful.
Cancer is also environmentally determined. Some factors cause cancer by destroying cell DNA making it more likely that that cell will enter unregulated growth and become cancer. Things like smoking and sun exposure are known factors which harm cell DNA.
The onyl means to cure cancer at the minute is to catch it early and take out the malignant cells before they spread to other areas of the body. Since cancer develops relatively slowly and doesnt give any symptoms it generally is not picked up quick enough.
