Does anyone know of any anti cancer vitamins for dogs?

2>my dog has cancer she is a rotti. and i dont want her to die just know and i know she has a couple months to live does anyone know of any anticancer vitamins that are good for a dog?
Reply:You can help her put up a better fight by strengthening her immune system..feeding a home cooked diet, with sea kelp...

A diet of lamb, brown rice and kelp help build her immune system.

Cook the natural rice with 3 cups of water per cup of rice, and cook until all is absorbed. Grind or chop the lamb and feed it raw, mixed in the rice with 2 spoons of sea kelp, add any cooked vegetables, such as yams, carrots, green beans, celery, spinach, etc..but no onions, garlic, or tomatoes, or cabbage.

You may use lentils if you wish, in place of, or added to the rice.

This recipe will last a while, and should be fed at least twice a day, or more frequent small meals..just add the kelp, 1-2 spoons at a time, (depending on how often you feed) with each feeding, so it is never cooked.....

Most store bought meats have growth hormones, and antibiotics, given during the growing or 'finishing' feeding. but lamb is not fed that stuff.

The kelp makes a big difference.

If your dog doesn't like the rice, you can boil fresh fish (not farmed) and pour the broth over the rice.

You can warm it each feeding..

a renowned nutritionist actually cured her own cancer, and has helped many people with a similar diet..
Reply:I would ask your vet if there are any options for the dog..good luck.
Reply:No, but search on google.
Reply:I don't think there such a thing as "Anti-cancer" vitamins, if there was don't you think humans would have them?

Check with your vet for the best possible treatment, you may have to come to terms that the dog isn't going to survive the cancer
Reply:anti cancer vitamins? wow did technology just jump? is bush long gone from politics?

wow!

no there's nothing like that. if she's got cancer, her time is up... the ways things are now for pets it's just not possible... sorry.

make her comfortable but if that's not possible... time to put her down, dogs suffer too!
Reply:Look into Shark Cartilage. Good luck and keep her happy and free of pain. :)

Reply:If only it were that simple! Poor dog. What kind of cancer does it have?
Reply:my 14 year old ****** had cancer (lymphoma) and we put him through a form of chemo using steriods, and vencrystine (not correct spelling). It was very expensive and only extended his life three months after we found out. Side affects were horrible he would become sick, lathargic and unable to eat.

dont put your dog down yet, just give him the best care and attention you can. Youlll know when its his time.

I dont know about the vitamins, you might want to aks about a steriod/
Reply:Number one: How do you know that she has cancer and what kind is it? Not all cancers are created equal.

NUmber two: Most Western doctors do not believe in neutriceuticals but there are some drugs for pain and appetite stimulation. A few of the alternative med veterinarians may have an herb or 2 to prescribe but they will only help with pain and appetite stimulation as well.

I would strongly suggest a heart to heart with your veterinarian about want is available and go from there.
