Can anti-perspirants really cause breast cancer?

38>Can anti-perspirants really cause breast cancer?
Reply:No. It's one of those half truths that sound like it might be real, but no scientific documented evidence exists that clearly links anti-perspirants to breast cancer. The myth all started from a hoax email that was circulated and continues to be circulated. Despite the fact that little or no evidence exists people continue to believe the rumors. This question has been asked hundreds of times in this forum.

No evidence exists that one person has ever gotten breast cancer from anti-perpirants.
Reply:No , but a safe cheap method is to mix Bicarbonate of soda and water in to a paste and smooth this on . IT alters the PH of the bacteria and stops it producing the smell of B.O.
Reply:no probably an advertising stunt
Reply:The official answer from National Cancer Institute is NO. However, there are always 2 sides to the coin. Read what other people say on my blog http://nrmedical.blogspot.com/2007/08/ca...

Reply:I have heard this, but I think we don't have enough information to know. Try just using a deodorant if you are concerned.
Reply:There is no definitive 'cause' of cancer. There are some chemicals that are known to have carcinogens in them and they have been taken off the market. The government is working on getting chemical companies to avoid accidental disposal of cancer causing agents. But, I had breast cancer, never smoked, but was around it, I also live right on the Ohio River with industry all around. This rumor went around for awhile, but, what are we gonna do? Stink??
